G. SRINIVAS SRINIVAS, JAYA TV

G.Srinivas Srinivas has been working with Jaya TV since August 2015 till date. As a CTO, he is involved in the technical areas for all the other departments like programming, news editorial. He is responsible for applying for renewal of all the MIB, WPC & NOCC complete Govt related Licenses up to date. Coordinating technical issues with BARC India, EMMC, DTH Operators and Cable head end operators.

He has successfully completed POC for sending feed to ASTRO through CLOUD Platform. Migration of transmission from DVB–S to DVB-S2 with Ericsson advance encoders, MUXes, Newtech Modulators, Up converters. Complete Electrical power Load balancing done. 9.3 mtr Transmission antenna changing over 2 port feed to 4 port feed with in the 6 hrs break. Migration of JAYA TV SD to HD. Migration of Complete CAR, Ingest, Edits from old SD equipment set up FORK, Promise storage, Everts to Imagine, ISILLON Storage. Migration of 5 channels from manual play out to Complete automation with Imagine products ADC, ICON MASTER, PLATINUM ROUTER, FTP Gateways. Unauthorised CAS Subscriptions completely de activated and matched with accounts dept. Handling teleport and DSNG issues personally. Taking final decision on technology, equipment selection and deciding work flow. He is also responsible for configuring any production switchers and assigning duties and guiding all the IT& Broadcast Engineers, MCR operators, ingest operators, electricians.

RAJAT NIGAM, CNN IBN

Rajat Nigam, Group Chief Technology Officer at Network18 Media & Investments, is responsible for businesses including traditional and new media products. Prior to joining Network18, Nigam was Senior VP & Head Technology & Broadcast Operations at Times Television Network. Nigam is an industry veteran with over 23 years of experience of managing all aspects of Television, Radio Broadcast & Satcom systems and infrastructure. His career has been a mix of managing, consulting and operating roles in the field of Television broadcasting ranging from International Sports productions (Olympic & Asian Games, ODI Cricket) to high intensive News broadcasting; designing 24x7 Corporate & Broadcast IT systems, budgeting Satellite communication & Terrestrial links and contributing on Regulatory, Business Process engineering & New Media nuances.

He was conferred with BES 2010 award as recognition of his contribution to Television Industry and was identified as one of the top ten Technologists and among the top 100 important professionals related to Indian Media and Entertainment Industry for the year 2013-14 by Digital Studio magazine (ITP Publication). Apart from the Times Network, Nigam has worked with BAG Films, BECIL, and Doordarshan.

Rajasekharan Harikrishnan, COLOURS

Rajasekharan Harikrishnan heads the Central Technical Operations of Viacom18 Media since last four years. He has a rich experience of more than 22 years in Broadcast TV industry, Production and Post-production environment and also in designing and Systems integration. Harikrishnan had earlier headed Technology and Operations at NEO Sports Broadcast and has also worked with NDTV. With strong technical competence and capability, and strong project-management skills, he has a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. He also has knowledge and experience with IT networks, non-linear edit and storage systems, file-based storage and transfer systems, networked content storage, and broadcast automation systems. He further has comprehensive industry knowledge of analog and digital broadcast technology, satellite RF technology and distribution methods. He is familiar with a wide range of broadcast products which includes Avid, Apple, Vizrt, Orad, Harris (including leitch and videotek), ThomsonGVG, Harmonics, S&W, Tandberg, Aveco, and Omnibus amongst others. He is also familiar with various tape formats like Panasonic’s DVC-Pro, Sony’s Beta-Cam and Digital Beta-Cam formats. He is recognized with Omnibus Automation Super-User Certificate of Achievement and has an experience working in a high pressured environment delivering consistency with mission critical assignments. He has the ability to change priorities and handle last minute changes. He can work flexible hours in high-pressure environments with strict deadlines. Good troubleshooting knowledge on both linear and non-linear technologies.

SUBRATA DUTTA, ABP NEWS

Subrata Dutta, current CTO at ABP News, is good at setting up media broadcast and production house, setting up radio station, commercial traffic and scheduling, infrastructure, purchase, negotiation, providing training on broadcasting.

He has been with the organization since 2005. He played an important role for migrating the channel from Mumbai to Delhi in 2006. He also has worked for a Sports channel, where he set up state of the art Sports production facility in Mumbai. Dutta has rich experience of over 25 years in Media organizations like ABP News Network, TV Today Network, Star Sports to name a few. He is an engineer by profession. In 2018, he attended ‘The Innovative Technology Leader’ a premium program for CIOs from Stanford Graduate School of Business.

C.K. VASUDEVA, SUVARNA NEW 24x7

C.K. VASUDEVA, who joined SUVARNA NEW 24x7 in January 2017 as Chief January 2012 till January 2017. He has a demonstrated history of working in the Public sector, media industry and is skilled in Enterprise Solution Architecture, IT Governance, Budgeting, Customer/Vendor Management, Digital Transformation, Solution Shaping from RFP to Delivery of large projects Strong information technology professional.
